Local students receive Ray-Carroll scholarships
The Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers Scholarship Committee awarded 20 scholarships totaling $20,000 to graduating seniors for the 2025-26 school year.
The scholarship fund was established in 1981 and awards are presented each spring to outstanding seniors who are children of cooperative members or are members themselves. Students must attend a college or university in Missouri and live in an area of company operation. Since the program began, 646 scholarships totaling $558,050 have been awarded.
Recipients from Hardin-Central High School were Hannah Finley, Kelsey
Nolker and Josh O’Dell. The Richmond High School recipient was Ella Steele.
Finley, daughter of Jared and Annie Finley of Hardin, plans to pursue a degree in nursing at Missouri State University. Nolker, daughter of Blaine and Stacy Nolker of Hardin, will study at the University of Missouri and major in nutrition and exercise physiology.
