The Spartan tennis team completed one of its better seasons in a while Wednesday afternoon in a 5-0 loss at Trenton in the Class 1, District 15 finals. Richmond completes the team portion of the post-season with a 7-5 record. Coach Julie Baker said there is a good reason that the Bulldogs are 13-2 for the season.

“Trenton is very good,” she said. “No. 1 through 6 are very solid. We were a little defeated just pulling in the lot. We were a little intimidated just getting off the bus. With our minds in the right place and our best skills, we could have made at least a run for it.”
