Led by coach Duane Bastob, Richmond’s A-team middle school girls went 10-4, capping their season with a runner-up finish at the Missouri River Valley Conference East Division middle school tournament. The young Spartans fell to Lafayette County of Higginsville 32-26 in overtime Jan. 30 at Richmond Middle School – their third loss to the Huskers this season.
