Following a disappointing loss one day earlier to Carrollton, the Spartan tennis team came back with several outstanding performances in a 5-4 win over Knob Noster at Maurice Roberts Park.

The Spartans, now 6-4 overall and 4-4 in the MRVC East, dropped two of the three doubles matches, but coach Julie Baker said all three played well.

Brandon Hendricks and Colton Baker fell 7-9 in the No. 1 match to Branden Orndoff and Ryan Day, and the No. 3 team of Ben Didier and Hunter Gifford dropped a 3-8 decision to Ryan Coheon and Hunter Anderson.
