RICHMOND – Some Richmond boys tennis program members have honed a shot in their repertoire.

The Spartans held four days of offseason camp – a.k.a., “contact days” – June 6-7 and 13-14 at Maurice Roberts Park. One of the shots they focused on during their team camp was the backhand, soon-to-be senior Ben Didier and coach Julie Baker agreed.

For Didier, it was time well spent.

“I can already feel my backhand is better than it was last year,” Didier said during a June 14 interview. “So that’s good.”
