The Hardin-Central track team qualified for seven events for this weekend’s Class 1 state meet in Jefferson City. The Lady Bulldogs set three new school records in qualifying during Saturday’s Class 1, Sectional 3 held at South Calloway High School in Mokane.

Two Lady Bulldog relay teams set new school marks in making their way to state. The 4 x 100 squad of Isabella Anderson, Gracelyn Gibson, Carly Thacker and Lacey Logsdon finished second and set a new mark of 52.62 seconds. The same four athletes also re-wrote their own school record in their state-qualifying third-place finish in the 4 x 200. They crossed the line in 1:50.82 to eclipse the mark they set one week earlier in the district meet.
