BELTON – Dylan Comstock almost parred Eagles Landing Golf Course when he played there Monday on the Kansas City Junior Tour. The Orrick senior shot a 38 (+2) for his first nine holes and a 39 for his back nine (+3) to finish the 18- hole, par-72 tournament round with a 77 (+5). As a result, Comstock tied with Cooper Frisbie of Overland Park, Kansas, for seventh in the boys 16+ division. He finished in a six-way tie for 10th on the overall boys leaderboard. Comstock stood among three Ray County golfers who played in the tournament. Timmy Hamilton, a senior at Richmond, shot an 80 (+8) to tie Jack Dorrian of Lee’s Summit for 12th in the boys 16+ division and in a five-way tie for 22nd overall. Hamilton shot a 41 (+5) for his front nine and a 39 (+3) for his back nine. For his final five holes, he parred on three and birdied on another, the 15th hole. Bishop Grimm of Orrick shot a 107 (+35) to finish 41st in the boys 16+ division and 79th overall. Eagles Landing was the fourth stop…
