Stevinson keeps carrying on

ORRICK – The Bearcats’ 66-38 Oct. 11 home victory over winless Kansas City East Christian in varsity 8-man football did not start the way coach Matt Hertzog had hoped.

“Just a shameful performance for the first half,” Hertzog said.

Starting quarterback Blake Buchanan, who was back in the lineup after a week’s absence while he was in concussion protocol, and running back Zander Stevinson agreed.

“I feel like we could’ve done way better,” Stevinson said.
