William Timothy Hurst, 67, passed away on July 20 at his home in Tucson, Arizona, of natural causes.

William was the son of Bill and Jean Hurst of Richmond. He was born June 25, 1953, in Lexington. He grew up in Richmond and graduated in 1971 from Richmond High School.

He relocated to Arizona and was employed at Phelps-Dodge in Morenci. He later taught at the MMI Institute in Phoenix until his retirement.

Burial was at Richmond Sunny Slope on Sept. 17, 2020.
