Sarah Christine Keith, 62, died Monday, June 17, 2019, at her home following a battle with lung cancer.

She was born Aug. 9, 1956, to David Andrew Kegley and June Willard.

Sarah had a bold personality that shined through in everything she touched. An artist, Sarah could see the beauty in everyday things and people. Her garden was filled with flowers, especially the tiger lily, which was her favorite. Trips with Sarah could take a while, as she would stop at a stream to find unusual rocks.

She was a fighter and taught all of her children and grandchildren to be tough and make it through any situation.

She is survived by her husband, John Keith of Henrietta; four children, Michael Hughes, Patricia Fields, Lora Hartwig and Jason Hughes; six grandchildren, Mason Fields IV, Laramie Sullard, Malarie Sullard, Lucas Hartwig, Katelin Hartwig and Jessica Hartwig; a sister, Sharon Blair; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves her precious pup and many loved pet chickens, including Black Betty.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her siblings, David Andrew Kegley Jr., Connie Sue Thaller and Thomas Wayne Kegley.

Flowers, cards and memorial contributions may be sent to Patricia Fields, 202 Dunns Lane, Richmond, MO 64085.

A Celebration of Life is at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the park in Henrietta.
