Larry Lee King (Killer), 62 of Orrick, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at his home in Orrick, with all of his beloved family around him.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1958, in Richmond to Arch King and Margaret Ann (Claypole) King. Larry was diagnosed with ALS in December 2018.

Larry was raised and schooled in Orrick, graduating from Orrick High School.

He had worked for J.E. Dunn Construction Co. as a concrete mason for 36 years before he was forced to retire. He loved visiting with friends, hunting, fishing, gardening, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and MU sports on TV, and getting to see the grandkids whenever possible. Larry had a son and daughter from his first marriage. He married Inga Greer Stevinson on Aug. 12, 2006. Together, they made their home in Orrick.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arch King; and an older brother, Jimmy King.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Inga King of the home; son, Brandon King and fiancé Ashley Parson of Richmond; daughter, Roni Smith and fiancé Mark Johnson of Orrick; two stepdaughters, Jamie Henrich (Eric) and Jenny Stevinson (Jed Blyth), all of Orrick; his mother, Margaret Ann King; and three brothers, Mike King (Sheryl), Terry King and Kent King, all of Orrick. Other survivors include his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaydon, Kayson, Jemma, Trista, Dalton, Kayleece, Aria, Harley Wesley, Brantley and Paisleigh; and greatgrandchildren, Maddy and Nichole.

Visitation was from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick, with Masonic services at 10:30 a.m. Funeral services followed at 11 at the funeral home. Burial followed at South Point Cemetery near Orrick.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the ALS Association, the ALS Hospice or the Orrick Fire Department.
