Kathy Holman

Kathy Ann Holman, 57, of Richmond passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Kathy was born on Feb. 26, 1966, in Kansas City, the daughter of Marion and Glenda (Stewart) Holman. Survivors include her mother, Glenda Holman of Richmond; son, Casey (Megan) Holman of Richmond; daughter, Jessica (Jeremy) Kaat of Independence; five grandchildren, Casey Holman, Julia Holler, Leo Holman, Zayne Kaat and Millie Kaat; and brother, Larry (Tina) Holman of Richmond.

She was preceded in death by her father. Kathy was reared and educated in the area of her birth. She worked over the years as an in-home caregiver.

Kathy had a great love for all animals. She especially loved all of her family. Kathy enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kathy Holman Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation with graveside services will be held Saturday, July 1, at Todd’s Chapel Church and Cemetery west of Richmond, with visitation 10-11 a.m. and graveside services to follow at the cemetery. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
