Dave Alfred Wilson Jr., 53, Richmond, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Dave was born Nov. 11, 1965, in Turlock, California, the son of Dave Alfred, Sr. and Rita Elizabeth (Clancy) Wilson. He was united in marriage to Kelly Dawn Showen from Keyes, California, on March 3, 1984. She survives of the home.
Dave grew up and was educated in the area of his birth and moved to Richmond in 1992. He worked at Henkel as a mold technician. He also owned his own business, Wilson Meat Processing.
Dave loved having a good time and was quite the joker. He enjoyed music and dancing, and it didn’t matter where… he would even dance in the grocery aisle. He loved drag racing, fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes and going to the lake.
Everyone who know him knew he was a diehard Eagles fan. His biggest love was spending time with his family, camping, skiing and teaching his children how to water ski.
Additional survivors include: his mother, Rita Wilson (Denis Milligan) of Wood Heights; a son, Derrick Lee (Kenny) Wilson of Richmond; two daughters, Desiree Jane (Bryce) Long of Excelsior Springs and Darlene Danielle (Phillip) Barrett of Hardin; 12 grandchildren, Jaden, Corbin, Rhian, Emily, Tayler, Lilly, Macie, Bryson, Reagan, Kody, Gus and Chole; a sister, Brenda Hussing of Camden; and nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
