Charlie Max Fowler, age 89, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born Oct. 29, 1930, at Gilmer County, Georgia, to the late James Solon and Grace Rollins Fowler.
He loved to fish and hunt.
Survivors include six children, Richard Fowler, Gene Fowler, Yvonne Bishop, Terry Fowler, Glenda M. Stevens and Judy Bolin; one brother, General Fowler;   and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elsie E. Fowler; one son, Billy Wayne Covey and one sister, Carrie Payne.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Richmond, Missouri.
