Richmond bids farewell to longtime UPS driver

After 42 years of deliveries, smiles and going the extra mile, Tony Ghisalberti is finally clocking out – but not without one last stop at the heart of the community he’s served for decades. Friends, coworkers and longtime customers will gather at the Richmond VFW, 312 E. Clark Street, to honor the retirement of their favorite UPS man. From chasing down packages across town to handing out nicknames that became workplace lore, Ghisalberti’s legacy is stamped on every corner of the community. “Tony went out of his way to help people,” said Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce Director Jayne Taylor. “He would deliver my personal packages to the chamber office instead of the farm.
