Police tie suspect to Richmond burglary spree

An arrest has been made in connection with a string of recent business burglaries in Richmond, with police linking the suspect to nine break-ins. Cloyce Oliver Wollard, 26, is facing 10 felony charges, including eight counts of second-degree burglary and two counts of stealing $750 or more. He is also charged with five counts of misdemeanor second-degree property damage. According to the Richmond Police Department (RPD), Wollard was taken into custody following an investigation into multiple burglaries reported between March 20 and April 7, including one at a local house of worship. He is currently being held in the Ray County Jail on a $20,000 cash-only bond. “We appreciate the assistance of the Ray County Sheriff’s Office and the continued support of our community,” said Police Chief Scott Bagley. “The investigation remains ongoing.
