RICHMOND – Ray County Eastern Commissioner Allen Dale received a House resolution of recognition, upon his pending retirement, from state Rep. Peggy McGaugh during the commission’s Dec. 18 meeting. Dale began service as a commissioner 20 years ago. Some of the whereas verbiage in the resolution includes: • Allen Dale is an outstanding individual who has faithfully performed his important duties and responsibilities with the utmost professionalism, conscientiousness and fairness; • Allen Dale is known, admired and respected for his helpful attitude and the friendly manner in which he has always greeted people in and around the county, a unique quality that will be missed by all; and • Dale has also enjoyed recognition by working closely with the Ray County Museum and Genealogical Library and the Eagleton Center – the latter of which he helped found a food pantry, delivering food during the COVID-19 pandemic – serving as a substitute teacher, taking part in FEMA and bridge projects…
