Less than a quarter mile of road in the Henrietta area of Ray County, closed partially this week, is expected to reopen Friday, based on information provided by Ray County 911.
One of several Ray County Highway Department members working on the road Wednesday, William Silkwood, said pavement is sinking in spots along East 84th Street near the entrance of KCP&L in Henrietta. The spot is near the Highway 13 bypass ramp.
The plan is to replace the pavement from a point near KCP&L less than a quarter mile west to Old Highway 13, Silkwood said.
Information from Ray County 911 stated the work focused on the eastbound lane.
