LEADERS MEET WITH FARMERS

FOLLOWING a meeting with farmers who live in the 5th Congressional District, which includes Ray County, Gov. Mike Parson and U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver II talk with Kansas City-area media members about issues that concern farmers, including the ongoing trade war with China.

BLUE SPRINGS – The yearlong trade war between China and the United States could have long-term consequences for farmers in Ray County and elsewhere.

“We’re all looking for a solution for (tariffs),” Gov. Mike Parson said, and added, “The sooner that gets done, the better it’s going to be for Missouri farmers.”
