RICHMOND – About 2 feet lower than level, and slightly catawampus, the Calvert Farm Road Bridge deck drew the attention of about a dozen people Friday.

They inspected flood damage to the span over the west fork of Crooked River. Enough driftwood debris occupied the east side of the bridge to build a shed.

“The bridge belongs to the county,” Commissioner Allen Dale said.
