BUSINESS EXPANDS

FATHER AND SON, Miguel Valencia Jr. and Sr., show off where the business will add an outdoor patio and indoor seating at Taquila Jalisco.

RICHMOND – Business is good at the No. 1 place to eat south-of-the-border cuisine in Ray County, Tequila Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, 620 S. Institute St.

During lunch Wednesday, the restaurant’s tables are mostly full and employees sing at three tables where people are celebrating birthdays.

Business is so good that guests choose to ignore the worksite on the south side of the building that faces the street to go inside to order food and drinks. Patron loyalty has led the restuarant’s owner to make a decision – one that explains the pre-construction work occurring alongside the building.
