RICHMOND– The school district is going with a second van as an alternative to using a school bus to transport smaller numbers of students and faculty to events, Richmond Superintendent Mike Aytes said.

“We ordered our second van today,” Aytes said Monday.

The board agreed to buy the van for $28,514 from Swafford’s Ford Sales.
