RICHMOND – Daddy’s 10-13 Diner, 1003 E. Main St., reopened after a COVID-19 scare, owner Donna Brinkoetter said. The worker did not put in many hours and the restaurant did not have to close, but Brinkoetter said she preferred to take a cautious approach out of concern for the safety of customers and staff. Test results came back negative and the Brinkoetters reopened the diner. The restaurant had remained closed for more than a week, causing financial difficulty for Daddy’s employees and owners. “It takes too long to get the results back – ten days (of) waiting,” Brinkoetter said.
