Murray Dennis' tenure as Richmond golf coach has ended. Dennis, who has announced his retirement, made his farewell Monday, when the Richmond boys played in the Class 3 District 4 Tournament at Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Maryville. The Spartans shot a 422 and placed 15th in the team standings. Senior Noah Nichols was their top finisher, tying Chillicothe’s Tyler Stephens for 37th. The top two teams and top 13 individuals not on those teams qualified for the Class 3 state tournament, slated for May 13-14 at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) information states.
