Richmond varsity boys basketball coach Kevin Jermain and his Spartans are looking to ring in 2024 with a win – and bounce back from a defeat. The Spartans closed 2023 with a 48-42 loss to Crest Ridge Dec. 28 in Holiday Hoops action at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton. They’ll open 2024 Friday at Pleasant Hill in Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC) interdivisional play. Richmond (4-5) is part of the MRVC East. The Roosters (4-6) are in the MRVC West. The Spartans will then play in the Lawson Invitational, set for Jan. 8-13.
