JEFFERSON CITY – Hardin-Central sprinter Korbin Pugh is a state medalist again. Pugh placed fifth in the boys 100-meter dash in 11.36 seconds at Class 1 state competition, held May 20-21 at Jefferson City High School. The top eight finishers in each event received a medal. It was Pugh’s second time to place at state. He finished seventh in the 100 in 2021. “I was proud of his effort and dedication this season, so I was happy to see him finish his track career with a fifth-place finish,” Hardin-Central coach Brent Behler stated Tuesday via email.
