NHC completes sweep of Orrick, moves on to W-N

Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) has swept Orrick this season in varsity 8-man football. Now, the Aggies are looking to sweep Wellington-Napoleon. NHC (10-0 overall) is slated to face Wellington-Napoleon (8-2) Friday at Hardin-Central for the District 4 title, with the winner advancing to the state quarterfinals, set for Nov. 22. It’s a rematch of Week 2 of the regular season, when the Aggies won 54-42 at Hardin-Central. The Aggies helped secure the rematch by downing Orrick 54-16 Nov. 7 at Hardin-Central. The district semifinal victory followed NHC’s 38-12 win in Week 4 at Orrick. Offensively, Brody Fifer led the Aggies to the win in the rematch. Officially, the Hardin-Central junior completed nine of 13 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns. He threw two of his TD passes during the first quarter to help the Aggies build a 16-0 lead.
