NHC chases CLAA, district championships on diamond

Perhaps the third season will be the charm for Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) as a varsity softball co-op program, in terms of wins and losses. NHC finished one game below .500 in each of its first two seasons, going 11-12 in 2023 and 11-12-2 last season. Here’s a look at the Aggies as they enter season No. 3, set to begin Sept. 3 against Richmond at Southview Park. Coaches and bios: Tommy Duncan and Brandee Doyle, who answered this questionnaire together. Doyle is in her 11th year of coaching. That total includes eight years leading Hardin-Central’s varsity program before Hardin-Central and Norborne formed their softball co-op. Duncan is in his eighth year of coaching. This is his second season as head coach. Total returning letter winners: Ten.
