Jersey is considered for sports, music tour
After my recent scares of misplacing my phone and dropping my truck key in public places, I’m reluctant to go anywhere – even in my daydreams.
But I can’t stay home, physically or mentally. With fall prep sports about to start in Ray County, there are places I must go physically. And I need to travel in my imagination. If I don’t, I’ll never finish the dream U.S. pickleball/music/ spectator sports tour I started sharing with you a few years and many columns ago.
So far, my daydreaming has taken me to Kansas City; Clearlake, Iowa; Minneapolis; Seattle; San Francisco; Los Angeles; Lubbock and Austin, both in Texas; Memphis and Nashville, both in Tennessee; Athens and Atlanta, both in Georgia; Washington, D.C.; and Philadelphia. For this column, my daydreaming is taking me to New Jersey.
