Jermain sees muscle from Spartans in Winter Classic defeat

During Richmond’s 61-46 loss to Bishop LeBlond of St. Joseph Jan. 27 in the Richmond Winter Classic title game, coach Kevin Jermain saw something from his Spartans he hadn’t seen so far this varsity boys basketball season. “Unfortunately, there were some … not-great things that happened this game,” Jermain said minutes after the defeat in the Richmond High School (RHS) gym. “But one great thing that happened this game … (was), that was the first time we really matched a team’s energy, a team’s intensity. The game was very physical.
