Elliott makes commitment to play ball at Arizona State

Elliott, a 2021 Richmond graduate, has transferred to Arizona State University from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, where he played for the Aggies as a linebacker for two seasons. He confirmed on Dec. 27, 2023, on his official page on X (formerly Twitter) that he had committed to Arizona State, a Tempe-based, NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision program. “Staying out in the desert,” Elliott tweeted. The tweet on @8Keyshaun also included the hashtag “forksup” – a reference to the trident that is Arizona State’s logo. In addition, it displayed a picture of Elliott sporting an Arizona State jersey. Arizona State was among four schools that had made Elliott a transfer offer. The others were the University of Kansas (KU), the University of Central Florida and the University of Houston, his X page stated.
