Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) will get another crack at Sweet Springs/Malta Bend in varsity 8-man football. The Aggies (4-5) will face the Greyhounds at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at Sweet Springs to open District 2 competition. Sweet Springs/Malta Bend (5-4) won the regular- season opener for both teams 50-22. To prepare for the Sweet Springs/Malta Bend rematch, the improved Aggies are spending “a little extra time” during their bye week studying game video, coach Andrew Watson said. “Fortunately or unfortunately, … we’re familiar with our opponent,” Watson said Monday in the Hardin-Central gym. NHC is a much-improved team from the one that lost to the Greyhounds in Week 1, “especially in our skill positions,” Watson said.
