UNO game inspires new philosophies

Being in college, many things were taught and many topics were absorbed. Specifically, I took a religion class, where we learned about all different religions and customs. It was very intriguing to learn and compare the unique religions. I later created my own philosophical “law” because of it. After learning about several religions, our professor introduced us to Buddhism and what it means to “suffer.” In Buddhism, suffering is the understanding that nothing in life lasts forever or is permanent. Although it seems depressing, life is both a balance of beauty and ugly. You cannot have one without the other. With this profound new piece of information, I came to understand what it meant. During college, I was having fun meeting new people and learning about my major, but it had to end – the real world became my new reality. When I lived 45 minutes away from my family – I missed my siblings. I missed them a lot and our time was shortened when we hung out together. They would grow…
