After getting engaged last month, you can only imagine I have been scrambling to plan my wedding. I used to think people were joking or exaggerating about the wedding planning process. News flash – they were not joking. It can be stressful out here planning for a wedding. Make the day everything you want and more within a specific budget and time frame. I am over the moon excited and I’m grateful for the opportunity to marry my best friend. Isn’t that what most want? To marry their best friend and to live happily ever after. Well, it is mine anyway — and to also have a vintage Ford Bronco — but that is for another column. At the top of my “wedding to-do list” was to 1) get my bridesmaids’ proposals done, 2) find an affordable event space, 3) find a photographer, 4) guest list and initiations, 5) dress shop and 6) survive the rest of my wedding to-do list.
