William Joseph Wilsdon 47, a resident of Blue Springs, passed away in Excelsior Springs Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2022. 

William was born on December 28, 1974, in Garden City, MI the son of Ron Crossland and Penny Crossland. 

William is survived by son, Dylan Wilsdon of Westland, MI; father & step-mother, Ron (Loretta) Crossland of Warrensburg; two brothers, Dale (Teri) Wilsdon of Independence and Joey (Mary) Crossland of Richmond; one sister, Cherrie (Christopher Moore) Biggs of Lathrop; two nieces, Mikaela Harrel and Mia Moore; four nephews, Mason Crossland, Logan Crossland, Kaiden Leach, and Karson Leach; one great niece Tessa Briggle; and a host of other relatives and friends.  He is also survived by all his Heartland Sheets family. 

He was preceded in death by his mother. 

William was a 1993 graduate of Richmond High School.  He worked at Sonic, Granger, Ford, and currently working at Heartland Sheets.  He also spent time working with the Good Samaritan Center in Excelsior Springs.  He enjoyed cooking, music, playing poker, and detailing cars.  He loved antiques and was known to have the antique eye.  He enjoyed motorcycles and especially enjoyed riding them.  He had a huge heart and loved freely.  Most of all he was a loving, caring and amazing father, son, brother, and friend to everyone.  He cared deeply for those whom he loved and will be greatly missed by many and never be forgotten by anyone.  

The family requests donations be made to the Good Samaritan Center in Excelsior Springs in his honor. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home 507 East Main Street – P.O. Box 190 Richmond, MO 64085. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.  visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow services in Cravens Cemetery, Camden.  Please remember to share your memories of William with the family by visiting www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
