Vinetta Ann (Loyd) Garnett, 62 of Orrick MO passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at Ray County Memorial Hospital.  

Vinetta was born on March 10, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, to William Eldred and Betty JoAnn (Huffman) Loyd. Vinetta worked and retired from Commerce Bank in downtown Kansas City. Vinetta was united in marriage July 3, 1989 to Robert "Bob" Garnett, of nearly 23 years where she nicknamed herself the "Evil Wicked Step-Mother", he proceeds her in death.  

Vinetta is also preceded in death by her loving parents and her big brother Joseph Loyd.  

Vinetta loved traveling, fishing, riding her bike, quilting and being with her many, many friends that she made while doing the things she loved.  

Survivors include her loving companion Donnie Wilson of the home, the "Good Child" Susanne Mathews of Florence MO, the "Lost Child" Darin Savage of Warrensburg MO and the "Wild Child" Tammy Garnett of Centerview MO. Ten grandchildren Amanda (Josh) Jeffers, Brandon (Amber) Wilson, Trevor Mathews, Mason Mathews, Anthony Savage, Ashton Savage, Austin Savage, Jayme Savage, Zachery Parcel and Haley parcel. Eleven great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be at 2:00 pm with Memorial services at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick MO.
