Steve was a member of the Morton Union Church and the Ray County Fair Association.
Steve and Brenda enjoyed sunsets, campfires by the pond, fishing, traveling with friends and working on the farm. Steve always enjoyed family get-togethers.
He treasured time spent with his grandchildren, earning the title of “Papa Steve.” They brought him tremendous joy and happiness.
He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and community.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Morton Union Church or the Ray County Fair Association. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.
