Sandra Kay Silvey, 72, of Richmond, died Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born on February 23, 1950, in Richmond, the daughter of Donald Ray and Emma Jean (Martin) Fales.  She was united in marriage to Alfred Eugene Silvey of Richmond on June 23, 1967; he preceded her in death on June 20, 2017. Survivors include: son, Jonathan E. (Kimberly Ann) Silvey of Richmond; two daughters, Donnetta (Stanford) Twitchell and Kimberly K. (Phillip) Due, both of Richmond; six grandchildren: David Yates, Trista Yates, Alyssa Due, Nicholas Due, Zander Silvey, and Taylor Silvey; four great-grandchildren: Aiden yates, A.J. Winkler, Penelope Kramer, and one on-the-way; and sister, Judy Pearon of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Cevie Aaron Due, and three brothers, Larry Fales, Ricky Fales, and Kent Fales. Sandra was reared and educated in the area of her birth.  In addition to being a housewife and homemaker, raising her family, she worked as a nurse’s aid and caregiver throughout the community.  Sandra was of the Christian faith and a member of the Messenger Chapel in Richmond.  She was a sweet, loving, caring, soft-spoken, and God-fearing woman.  She would do anything for you.  Sandra loved animals. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Ray County.  They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
