Ronnie Hylton

Ronnie Lee Hylton, 68, of Camden passed away Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, at NorthCare Hospice House in Kansas City. Ron was born Feb. 23, 1955, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Floyd Hubert and Kay L. (Rogers) Hylton. He was united in marriage to Mary Martin of Higginsville in 2005. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include three sons, Danny Evans of Higginsville, John McGinness of Liberty and Jimmy Riley; three daughters, Vanessa (Jair) Evans of Orlando, Rosetta Martin of Richmond and Lisa Riley; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd “Wade” Hylton and Timothy R. Hylton; and two sisters, Carolyn Hylton and Kathy Robb.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Hylton.

Ronnie was reared and educated in Kansas City. He enjoyed fishing, playing the drums and listening to music.

Ronnie was a big jokester. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life event was held 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Orrick Lions Club. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond was in charge of the arrangements.
