He was born at Independence Regional Hospital.
Scotty and Michelle first met when they were 17 years old until he moved to Texas for five months. Still, they always wrote letters to each other. From then on, they were inseparable and each other’s best friends and the love of their lives.
They got married on Oct. 4, 1984, and had just celebrated their wedding anniversary shortly before Scotty’s passing.

Scotty and Michelle loved to ride motorcycles, as they belonged to the Christian Soldiers Group, where they participated in many charity events. Scotty loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved watching old-time Western movies, wrestling with all the kids and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Scotty was a kid at heart and would do anything for anybody.
