Martha Wilson
Martha Lee Wilson, 76, of Richmond passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. Martha was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Empire, Calif., the daughter of Louis and Juanita (Kerr) Bordwine. She was united in marriage to Ralph Arthur Wilson of Turlock, Calif., in 1964. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2014.
Survivors include three sons, James Wilson (Brenda Ballinger) of Richmond; Timothy (Lynda) Wilson of Machias, Maine; and Douglas (Tanya) Wilson of Richmond.
Other survivors include eight grandchildren, Joshua (Amber) Wilson, Katy (Patrick) Pimentel, Jonah Wilson, Avery Urban (Sirena DeLapp), Baely Urban (Christopher Nielson), Douglas (Sarah) Wilson Jr., Christian (Alexia) Wilson and Aaron Wilson (Madison Pratt); and five great-grandchildren, Zelda Wilson, Jace Wilson, Ava Wilson, Ryan Wilson and Benjamin Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Martha was reared and educated in the area of her birth and graduated in 1964 from Turlock High School.
She loved going on cruises, traveling, and watching the Chiefs and Royals. Martha also enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and knitting.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. Martha will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Martha Lee Wilson Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.
Visitation and funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m., followed by services at 2. Burial was to be in Richmond Memory Gardens.
