Lori L Gilliland 63 a native of Chillicothe and resident of Richmond, passed away on December 4, 2021, at Ray County Memorial Hospital. Lori was born on September 20, 1958, the daughter of Dwight Clark and Virginia Lee (Patterson) Gilliland. 

She is survived by sister, Helen Fetters; two nieces, Lisa (Zach) Conner and Robyn (Zach) Dent; and other relatives and friends. 

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Gilliland, and nephew, Steven Crook. 

She took care of her mother after their home explosion in 1982 then until her mother’s passing in 1995. Lori was an avid animal lover. She adored her dogs and cats, she had over the years and any stray, she thought needed help. Lori enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew whether swimming at the local pool or amusement parks or just family dinners at home. She enjoyed everyone being together.
