Kolbie Layne Heins, the anxiously awaited infant daughter of Sevin Isaac and Jessica Marie (Borsella) Heins of Richmond, passed due to unexpected complications on Dec. 16, 2023, at Centerpoint

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Casey Leigh Heins of Lenoir City, Tenn.; maternal grandmother, Kimberly Stegeman of Newton, Kan.; paternal great-grandparents, Brett and Kathy (Vantrump) Lake of Norborne; maternal greatgrandfather, Charlie Thomas of Kansas City, Kan.; maternal adoptive grandmother, DeLacy DeBoard of Gladstone; and sister, Novalyn Heins of the home.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Tony Borsella; paternal great-grandfather, Gerald Lee Heins Jr.; and maternal great-grandmother, Kathy Thomas.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
