Harold Allen Pittman Sr., 86, of Richmond, formerly of Norborne, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Shirkey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Harold was born on May 15, 1934, in Kansas City. He was reared and educated by D. R. and Bertha (Wyzard) Pittman. He was united in marriage to Maxine Marie Hessenflow from Kansas City on Nov. 9, 1953. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include three sons, Harold (Glenda) Pittman of Marshall, Russell (Barbara) Pittman of Kansas City, Kansas, and Jamie (Kelly) Pittman of Richmond; a daughter, Carolyn (George) Jefferies of Perry, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alvin Pittman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Michael Jefferies; and several brothers and sisters.

Harold worked at Banquet Foods in Carrollton until his health forced his retirement. He lived in Norborne for 34 years and the past five years at Shirkey’s in Richmond. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch with his dogs.
