Gloria McFadden
Gloria McFadden departed her body on Dec. 23, 2021.
Gloria was born to, Raymond L and Angela (Knutsvig) Christensen, in Grand Forks, ND on April 5, 1949. She grew up in Grand Forks before moving to Fargo before her junior year in high school. She came to Missouri in 1971, and to Ray County in 1983, settling on a small farm west of town.
Gloria raised Angora goats for mohair, held shearings, and sold her fiber. In the early years, she commuted to KC, but later Gloria worked in Richmond for Ray County Community Services helping to care for Richmond’s disabled population. Gloria was half owner of CFS Inc., a Richmond based telephone interconnect company, from 1995 to 2005. After retirement, Gloria turned her energy to the Humane Society of Ray County, where she is sorely missed. Gloria took and edited the photographs used by the HSRC in publicity and documentation of the pets they cared for and served as treasurer for several years.
Gloria was predeceased by an infant son, Jaeson Barnes.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff who survives of the home.
