Faye Marie Jackson, 83, of Richmond, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond. 

Faye was born in Pekin, IL, the daughter of Don and Tillie Burnham.  She was united in marriage to Robert Deakin of Pekin, IL, on Aug. 19, 1955; they later divorced.  She later married Ronald Jackson of Lebanon on Sept. 11, 1976; they later divorced. 

Survivors include three children, David Deakin, Julie (Jerry) Deakin-DeOrnellis, and Vegas (Beth) Jackson; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; much to her joy, she has a great-granddaughter, named after her, Kinley Faye; and brother, Denny Burnham. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, and her long-time best friend, Rosalie Goodin. 

Faye was a title researcher for 22 years.  She was a member of the Henrietta Baptist Church, where she was baptized on Feb. 19, 2012.  Faye was a volunteer for the Ray County Hospital Auxiliary in Richmond.  She was also a volunteer for Newborns in Need, where she made many quilts for preemie babies. Faye enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and was an avid reader.  She wrote a small newsletter for the Richmond Manor, where she lived for 17 years.  Faye will be missed dearly by her family and friends. 

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Newborns in Need.  They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
