Donna Conklin

Donna June Conklin, 70, of Polo passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, at her home. Donna was born Oct. 13, 1953, to Donald Eugene and Phyllis June Forson. Both preceded her in death. Donna was united in marriage to the love of her life, Wayne Conklin, in May of 1982. Wayne survives of the home. Survivors include four siblings, Debra Forson of Grandview, Diana Beltz of Stet, James David Forson (Pam) of Kansas City and Steven Lee Forson (Gail) of Nixa; seven great-nieces and nephews, Julie Hufford (Billy) of Richmond, Jamie Fort (James) of Blue Springs, Jason Forson (Elaina) of Cumberlin, Ky., Danielle Forson (Jennifer) of Kansas City, Christopher Forson (Sarah) of Kansas City, Chelsea Ridings (Chase) of Nixa and Tanner Forson (Rebecca) of Nixa; and four great-great-nieces and nephews, Cecilia, Catalina, Buck and Iva.

Donna worked as a legal secretary her whole life. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her beloved pets.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Humphrey’s Cemetery Association. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held by the family at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
