David Brown

David William Brown, 64, of Richmond passed away Jan. 4, 2024, at his home, with his parents and children by his side. A memorial gathering will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home, 9502 Leathers Road, Richmond, followed by a celebration of life/get-together at his home, 804 Reyburn St., Richmond.

Mr. David Brown was born July 27, 1959, to Tom and Mary Brown at their home in Orrick.

David had a huge love for classic cars, fishing, the Fourth of July, fireworks and, most of all, his family. In his younger years, his passions were building demolition cars, social gatherings, and cruising the gravel roads and levies. He always lived for the country life and NASCAR races.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Mary Brown; youngest brother, Keith Brown; and his wife, confidant and best friend, Terry Brown, whom he was with for more than 20 wonderful years.

He is survived by his father, Tom Brown; stepmother, Ann Brown; and brother, Kenneth Brown. David also is survived by his five children and their spouses, daughter Tisha Hartwig with Michael Hartwig, daughter Christina Brown with Amy Brown, daughter Elizabeth Conchola with Michael Conchola, daughter Melissa Johnson and his son, Brandon Roberts.

In addition, David is survived by 15 grandchildren: Brian Harris, Chandler Myer, Ruby Dawson, Bailey Brown, Caden Russ, Paul Schiffer, Hunter Russ, Hailey Harris, William Keese, Ricky Russ, Stacie Roberts, Allie Roberts, Alice Schiffer, Bradlie Roberts and Alex Schiffer. There also are four great-grandchildren: Remington Brown, Estella Rose, Lylah Coty and Kentyn Coty.

As David was the life of any party, he also is a life that will forever be missed but never forgotten. To know David Brown was to also know laughter and love. He was, he is and he will always be loved by all that knew him.

“Till we meet again...”
