Darrell Eugene Mullikin died Aug. 7, 2021, at the age of 66 at the Lee's Summit Medical Center. He was currently residing in Clinton with his wife of many years, Angela Green. 

Darrell was born at the Excelsior Springs Hospital on Nov. 26, 1954, to Elinor E. Ward and Clyde E. Mullikin.  

After graduating high school from Excelsior Springs in 1972, he joined the United States Navy, serving on the USS Inchon from 1972-1976, stationed in Norfolk, VA. Mr. Mullikin was a member of the Grand Lodge of the Masons in Excelsior Springs, during the 1980's. Darrell was best known as a painter and enjoyed playing pool. He was also a lover of golf, playing guitar, Demolition Derby, stock car racing and hunting.  

Darrell leaves behind his wife, Angela Green; daughter, Jessica Gardner (spouse, Randy) of Excelsior; son, Alan Mullikin (spouse, Jennifer) of Cameron; stepchildren, Natalie Foland, Christopher Foland and Lauren O'Dell; grandchildren, Haley, Tristian, Kendrick, Slade, Parker, Maison, Finnegan, Gage, Alexis, Henry, Eli, Max, and Zoe; and great-grandchildren, Ember and Evelyn.  

Darrell was the youngest of his siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard Curtis and Clyde Mullikan Jr.; and sister, Rosalee Barnes. He is survived by siblings, Gary Curtis of Winston and Kate Parks of Fleming.  

Darrell was cremated and as a Veteran his ashes will be interred at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Higginsville on Aug. 26, 2021, at 10 a.m.
