In addition, he is survived by his former wives: Barbara Edwards, mother of Anneliese; Linda Edwards, mother of Charles, Carrie, Christopher, Curtis and Cynthia.

Charlie was excellent with his hands and had a knack for mechanics and science, even as a child. He loved farming in his early years and moved into a life of working in diesel mechanics. He was known to tinker in his shed for hours. His favorite pastime was salmon fishing and hunting, especially the last 10 years of life in the Pacific Northwest. He would camp for weeks at a time, with his cherished companion, Maxwell.

Charlie leaves behind his beloved second labrador, Max. Charlie had a contagious laugh with an eccentric, passionate personality. He was hardworking, tough as nails; and he unconditionally loved his children, grandchildren and two dogs.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at the Missouri City Christian Church.

Cremation entrusted to Pacific Northwest Cremation & Funeral.

“Into the field I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.” Rest in peace, Charlie.
